Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from Don and Cheryl Williams, missionaries to West Africa, founders of By Thy Spirit Ministries, a non-denominational ministry.

Our desire as full time missionaries is to share the Word of God throughout the country of Liberia, the Republic of Guinea, and wherever God opens the doors for us to work. We are ground level evangelists and church planters. By the grace of God, we travel and spend time living in interior villages teaching and sharing the Gospel. Just as in the book of Acts, we see mighty works of God, and church planting has become an important part of our ministry.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have seen many salvations, with hundreds baptized all to the glory of God, and we stand in awe of His mighty works. To God be given all the glory! He has opened the hearts of the villagers to the truth of His Son, which has blessed our ministry with 14 church plants in Nimba county, Liberia in 8 months. Villages with names like Ganwin, Bannakpala, Zorgowee, and Yeibow, now have a body of believers who gather on Sunday to praise and worship Jesus their Savior.

God's Word has no boundries and God's Word knows no borders. We have been blessed to start 5 churches in the Republic of Guinea. This country is 90% Muslim and the influence is great which makes the need for the gospel of Jesus Christ even more critical. Pray that we can expand our ministry into Guinea.

We continue to do the work of the Lord as God gives us opportunities to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. We seek your prayers and help to enable us in this outreach effort as God guides our steps. Our hope, our vision is to see Liberia as a Light in great darkness.
